Nvidia has pitched a model of 3D glasses to business environments, hoping to lure corporate dollars in the 3D revolution storm.
The new product, 3D Vision Pro, provides 3D viewing over a range of over 30 meters, expanding the use of the current technology to business facilities such as conference rooms and lecture halls.
Their main departure from existing 3D equipment set-ups is their ability to broadcast to glasses over a greater distance eliminating the need for multiple transmitters. This is made possible by updating the infrared transmission technique with RF technology.
The glasses will cost $349 and the transmitter $399 in the US, available in October.
